The Ziegelhütte Inn has been a part of rural hospitality culture for over 200 years. We are proud of the history and tradition of the entire property.
Unfortunately, our renovation took significantly longer than planned and predicted. Now the time has finally come, and we look forward to presenting the result to you from October 31, 2025.
Stay tuned and join us in looking forward to newly designed dining rooms, a large, partially covered sun terrace, and an expanded range of food and beverages.
During the renovation, we attached great importance to preserving the spirit of the house and preserving the cozy, family-friendly atmosphere which our guests have always appreciated. Personal and communicative service, as well as conviviality, will continue to be a top priority at the Ziegelhütte.
Whether hiking, cycling or other leisure activities, there is something for everyone in the area around our inn.

Our inn is located directly at the top of the Geislinger Steige and borders directly on the Alb-Donau district or the municipality of Amstetten.
By train: From Amstetten train station, you can reach our inn in 15-20 minutes on foot.
By car: The Stuttgart - Ulm highway B10, coming from the Fils Valley, passes our inn across the Swabian Alb.
